The media could not be loaded. The replacement struts are nice sturdy quality and quiet. I used them on my Toyota RAV4 hybrid 2020.I’ve had them on for a couple months now they perform flawlessly and are a huge cost savings from having to go to through a dealership to have struts replaced!!Installation is pretty straightforward, I suggest looking up a couple videos online to get a feel for replacement instructions.The fit is exactly the same as Toyota original parts.Please note: a helper is best when replacing your struts. Furthermore the internal electrical connector on a Toyota can be accessed through a small doors on the back panel. Someone with small hands can release it and reattach the new connector also the connector releases on both sides. Hope this helps.Well worth the money.

The media could not be loaded. Quieter and faster opening the lift gate than OEM. Easy to install, worked perfectly first try after plugging them in.

The Toyota dealer wanted over $1,000 to replace back door power struts. Bought these on Amazon for about $150 and hired moonlighting mechanic for $150 to install, although I probably could have done it myself. Works great.

Was incredibly easy to install these. Did not even have to move the two metal clips for installation, only removal of the old one and didn't need the old clips. The new ones snapped right on and would not come off if I tried to pull them.

Simple set-up, works as designed. Would recommend to others

UPDATE: I replaced these in early march 2024. Here, in December of 2024, these struts completely failed. There was grease around the boot of both sides, and there are no cracks on the hinges to cause the issue. I tried to replace under warranty, but there is ZERO contact information for this seller. I contacted amazon and they refunded my money and I bought a different brand that I see contact info for. Maybe I got a lemon set, but be aware these can fail pretty quickly, evidently.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Bought these for my failed 2021 rav4 limited, Japan vin units. If you open your tailgate and it only goes up a second before beeping and failing, or same when closing, get these! Not only did it fix the problem, these are so much quieter. Very happy with the purchase.

Purchased for 2019 Rav 4 Hybrid Limited. The rear cargo door was only opening/closing partially. Sometimes it would work but most of the time it didn’t. Decided to replace the struts. Toyota part is $450 for each side. The dealership wanted $1200 to fix it. Seemed a little ridiculous. Considering the original struts we’re only 3 years old, I wasn’t sure a Toyota part would last any longer than a non Toyota part. So I got both the left and right for $200. It took me 30 min total to replace both and saved me $1000.

Cheap, only lasted 10 months. Buy elsewhere
