Favorite in-ear wireless
Overall, the most comfortable and easiest to use of all the Bluetooth ear phones I own. Sound is excellent, seal is great. Bluetooth connect instantaneous. Adjustable wire. Announces remaining juice. Comfortable for my small ears compared to the X2. Battery does not last a full day of off and on usage. Be prepared to charge overnight for next day's use or carry the auxiliary chargng cradle+cable with you at all times. Don't lose the ingenious but proprietary charging cradle and/or cable. They are SMALL. Keep in the supplied small pouch and remember where you put it (or panic like I did).

Great headphones, but that damn battery clip ...
I genuinely like these headphones. They sound nice. They fit well; nice and flat against my head. They're great for wearing under a helmet, ear protection, and even a beanie. They charge nice and fast and the charge lasts well. 3- 4 hours on a full charge then a little more than half that when you attach the battery clip. That's the sore point though. That damn battery clip is the ~only~ way to charge the headphones. If you misplace or lose it, you're screwed. They're useless without it. I managed to lose mine within a week of owning them. I'm usually very good of keeping track of that sort of thing. The replacement cost more than half the price of the headphones. If I would have read the details better and understood that this was even a possibility, I would have kept shopping.Update: After just over a year, the cord where it connects with the controls and charging port has come apart and the wires are showing. At this point, the only thing I can actually recommend about these headphones is the shape of the ear pieces. Need to find a replacement pair now. Wish me luck.

Best Headphones for Small Ears
I absolutely love these headphones!! I have tiny ears and always have trouble getting headphones that stay put while exercising. I previously had Jaybird X2s and X3s and they both would stay alright, but were never perfect. On average I would still have to adjust them every 5-10 minutes so they wouldn't fall out. I mostly wear my headphones for running, but occasionally will do HIIT workouts in them as well. HIIT workouts were when my X3s fell out most frequently (especially with jump roping, etc), and these do not budge! I ordered these to replace my X3s that stopped powering on (just after the warranty ran out of course). While I can no longer turn the X3s on to compare the sound quality, these seem to be just as good. I haven't tried running with the battery pack attached, but it's really nice to have that option. Overall, if you struggle with headphones falling out, I would highly recommend you give these a try! Even if you don't have that problem, I would buy these over the X3s because of the price difference and the quality seems to be about equal.

Good design, but don't sound as good as I'd hoped
I got these because there are number of people on youtube that claim they are just as good as Bose Sound Sport wireless earbuds. NOT true at all.I've owned the Bose Sound Sports for a few years and they have amazing sound with a very good depth and richness. These Freedom 2 earbuds sound good but favor the higher ranges. Even with the equalizer, on the phone app, the Freedom 2 still have a lack of depth in their sound quality. They're good earbuds though and I'll keep them because the battery life is far superior to many other brands and they have a really low profile in my ear. I had to get the comfort foam ear pieces though. The silicone ear pieces JayBird provides are not quite right for my ears; they hurt and they fall out too much.So far the JayBird support is non-existent.My microphone comes on at random times. You can tell because the audio quality drops and you can easily hear anything that touches the mic. Easy to turn off ... but annoying still.Take a look at the image I attached. Over 4 days and no one looks at it ... yet the 3 people are claiming that they respond in under 5 hours. Sad.

Charge does not hold well
Owned one pair that had excellent charge hold, sound, etc. but broke after a couple of years. This one, however, did not keep charge long enough. Returned.

Awful.
These were awful from the beginning. They did not charge when plugged into the charging clip/battery pack. After a day or so, I examined the connection, and the socket connector holes were all covered in a black residue, which did not allow the unit to make contact and charge. So I cleaned these all out and then it did appear to charge. They were good for a couple of weeks, and then stopped charging again. The outside connectors were good. So I popped the back off the unit and examined the inside. Lots of corrosion in there, and obvious signs of deterioration which cannot have happened in the 2 weeks I had them.Cleaned off that corrosion as best I could, and they charged one more time, and then failed again. My conclusion is that either they had been sitting for a long time in a very damp environment or they were a used, returned set which didn’t work or failed for the original owner. They were comfortable for the short time they did work.

Jaybird made a second generation product, without address some important design flaw, and managed to make the product worse.
I own the Freedom 1. I really liked it until the cupper contact between the charger and my headset rusted away. I eventually can't charge my headset anymore so I purchased the freedom 2.And after got it, it sounds and looks and feels exactly like my freedom 1, except they now have sillion fin and tip fused together. I hate this change so much as the silicon tip doesn't seal my ear nearly enough compare to the foam ones. I can't be the only one on the planet with somewhat strange earshape. I only purchased the Freedom 1 after I tried it with foam tip at Apple store. Luckily the headphone itself is pretty much the old one so I was able to use my old foam eartip. Why did I gave it a 3 star? Because it is just like the old one. The only significant improvement is the cord management system. And seeing the contact material and coating unchanged, I have no reason to believe this one's contacts won't rust away. So essentially jaybird made a second generation product, without address some important design flaw, managed to make the product worse.

Very good but not perfect.
These are solid earphones and work great! Even trying the different silicone wings, they don’t fit me perfectly (sometimes slip out) but they are acceptable.

Avoid these. Very disappointing. Returning.
I've owned a number of wireless headphone solutions, with these being the (regrettably) latest pair. I'm trying to fill a temporary gap that my now failing BeatsX has created. With the holidays here, and at a 70 dollar price tag, these headphones seemed like a good fit.Let's start off with pros:- Sound quality was decent to start. A bit murky, but good for the price-point.- They're light, but only without the charging pack (which is an awful idea, I might add)And now the cons:- The specially designed fit could be improved. I was able to get them to fit like designed, but that isn't the major flaw. The bigger issue is that the control bar was dangling behind my ear, which made it frustrating to access. The cord between the right speaker and control bar is just way too short. I was able to get used to the "classic" fit, but the balance of the controls and cord extender are very uneven and uncomfortable.- The cord length extender / condenser is awfully designed. It's large, and clunky, and unfortunately needs to be that way as to not damage the cord. Just disappointing.- Lastly, and this is a big lastly, the battery / power management is either very poor or just broken. After charging the headphones and the supplied power-pack, I was not able to get the headphones to turn on without having the power-pack attached to them. I figured that maybe the headphones didn't charge and that the power-pack needs to charge the headphones themselves. I let the headphones charge directly from the power-pack, and they turned on independently! Problem solved with a workaround, I thought, until the headphones refused to turn on independently the next day. Nothing in the marketing or the quick start guide mentions that the headphones need the power-pack to work since it's supposed to be a 4 hour + 4 hour split, so I am certain that my headphones shipped defective. After some research, I found a substantial amount of people complaining about the exact same thing, which leads me to believe that this is a very common defect.Either way, avoid this product. I am going to be returning it immediately.
