This is my second pair of espadrilles from this maker. I absolutely love them. My first pair is a few years old and have seen their day. I shared the specific picture because I love the upgrade made to this shoe. First, the metal grommets keep the threads of the shoes from fraying after constantly pulling on the strings to make sure they are tight enough around the ankle. Second, the leather tips on the ends of the strings add a finished look. My first pair did not have them. The shoe is very comfortable, versatile and stylish to wear with jeans, linen pants or summer dresses. They are true to size. I recommend these shoes. My only negative would be that they are a little pricey but I would not hold back a star because of that and they are well made shoes.

I really love these shoes. They were a little tight at first but after I wore them to work all day they fit better. In fact, they seem a tad loose now. But they still fit great and are comfortable. I've worn them to work a bunch and never had any pain. I did get a blister on my heel once because the back part of the shoe was folded down a little, but that had nothing to do with the quality of the shoes. Once I fixed it, they were comfortable again. They are very nice looking shoes. I got the navy blue pair so that I could wear them with more outfits, and they do indeed seem to go with almost everything -- skirts, dresses, flared jeans, skinny jeans. Haven't tried them with shorts, but I bet they would look awesome. If you have issues with your arches, I can't testify as to whether or not these are supportive as I have pretty flat feet. But otherwise, they are very comfortable. I really like the height of the heels, they aren't too tall, which I think is partly why they are comfortable, but there is enough of a heel to make your legs look longer and thinner. At least that's what they did to me. I would definitely buy more of these in different colors in the future.

These shoes are even more beautiful than the first pair I ordered! And so comfortable -- virtually NO break-in time, which is unheard of for espadrilles. They've added grommets to reinforce the ties on the heel of the shoes (before there were just holes). The ribbon is stronger and thicker, with beautiful leather and stitching to prevent fraying on the ends. The first pair I bought was much wider in the toe box, so there was a gap and some stretching. Not a huge deal, but VISCATA has narrowed the toe box, so it fits my foot better. I have tiny feet (size 5/35), so it's always difficult to find great shoes that are small enough. Love, love, LOVE these! Will definitely buy more pairs (and they're more affordable on Amazon).

These are great. They are very pretty and comfortable. The size 10 was recommended but 11 was actually more comfortable. I tried a strap style too but I like the lace ones a bit better. I'll probably get a red pair similar to these ones later, these are so cute.

The shoes appear very well manufactured. I was concerned about the size (I'm 8.5, ordered EU40/US9), and they are a perfect fit. Many people commented that they are too wide, I didn't find this to be a problem although I have normal-to-narrow feet. There is a bit of space side-to-side but it does not look or feel weird and allows placing a gel-padding if I want to (many shoes don't provide any space for padding even though their shoes come without any padding whatsoever). The soles could be softer and more flexible (and more padded). This is why I gave 4 stars out of 5. I expected more flexibility. Finally, the laces are of good length. I was able to wrap them around my ankles three times and make a small knot (or twice with a bow).

Love these espadrilles. Well made and easy to walk around.

By far the best! I wore size 8/39 in most shoes and have somewhat narrow feet so you can see it rather loose on me. It also includes another set of longer shoe laces if needs to be change out. For something well made, the price is reasonable. Would definitely recommend it.

I have been wanting espadrilles for quite some time. These are beautifully crafted & comfortable. I wear a 7 1/2 in a sandal & inquired what size I should purchase. They responded quickly & recommended a 7 which fit perfectly! You will not be disappointed if you purchase.

Sehr schöne Schuhe. Hochwertige Verarbeitung und bequeme Sohle (ich hatte vorher von einer anderen Marke brettharte Schuhe bestellt). In diesen Schuhen war ich zur Saisonabschluss-Feier 7 Stunden auf dem Fußballplatz! Und das beim ersten Tragen ;-) Keine Blasen, keine Schmerzen. Und wichtig für Frauen mit etwas breiteren Füßen, das Material dehnt sich und passt sich dem Fuß an. Ich bin sehr begeistert von den Schuhen. Ich trage übrigens sonst Gr. 39, diese passen gut in 38.
