This table top tandoor oven is perfect for everyday cooking of chapattis, fresh naan & even pizzas. Quick to heat up to operating temperature, leaving your cooker available for other dishes. It leaves no mess and is easy to clean with just a damp cloth. On full heat you can make a perfectly cooked chapatti in less than 1 minute! Ideal for regular use at home or a small business such as a restaurant/takeaway.
Comes in a sealed box with a British standard plug fitted . The oven is CE certified, meeting European safety, and environmental standards. Front panel comes with a special heat resistant security glass.
Tandoor is also known as Lahmacun, Naan & Chapatti / Roti Maker.
How to cook naan or chapattis (literally one chapatti in a minute):
- Power on until oven is warmed up to full heat (approx. 2 minutes).
- Roll a chapatti in the normal fashion and place on top of hot plate with tandoor door closed.
- Wait until you see signs of bubbles and using tongs or gloves move it inside the oven and close door.
- Keep an eye on the chapatti through glass window of the door, wait until it turns gently brown on top and becomes puffy. It is now ready, open the oven door and remove.
- If you are able to gather pace, you will have two chapattis being cooked at same time while you roll out the third.
