Poolmaster20171 18-Inch Aluminum-Back Swimming Pool Brush, Classic Collection,Neutral

Our previous pool brush had lots of damaged and or missing fibers and I was concerned that I would inadvertently be brushing the pool with the hard plastic bar instead of with the soft brushes. The brush fibers on the new brush are nice and soft and it works very well. Also I ordered this item without thinking about the diameter of the attachment point or how it would attach to our existing aluminum pole. As it turned out, it fit the old pole perfectly. And as always the item arrived in a couple of days. I am hooked on prime.

Seems like a waste to change the whole brush and aluminum handle, all that's wrong with my old one (same brand) is the nylon brush part deteriorated from age and being outside in the weather. I'll keep this one in the storage bin on our deck.

Great Price for a Great Brush. It is strong but yet not too abrasive. I believe it will last for several seasons. I detach the brush from the pole when I'm done so it doesn't bake in the Florida sun all day. Based on reviews I've read about similar products I believe this will give it better longevity.

Worked fine for a couple months, but now the bristles are starting to fall off. After using the brush recently, I could see bristles floating all over the pool.

Didn't last long before bristles started falling out. I bought this in May 2014. By July 2015, the bristles started falling out in large numbers. The brush was kept in a pool side box for most of the year. It was exposed to the outdoor sun/air for maybe 3 months total. It did work well and looks nice. However, this is the shortest lasting brush I've ever bought. The previous one went 6 years before deteriorating.

I purchased this product over a year and a half ago. Brush did okay with algae growing on side wall of in ground pool, but took a great deal of effort to completely remove algae, and at times, I couldn't remove all growth. I was hoping brush would be durable enough to last, but a few months ago, bristles began to drop off. Unless i find another one on Amazon that's similar in price and quality, I would purchase the product again, but it's a year-max product before I need discard and replacing again.

This is by far the best brush I've purchased. I like that it is not completely straight and curves a bit at the ends so it doesn't get stuck when sweeping the stairs and corners. The bristles are firm yet soft and very compact. I've got salt water filtration and usually find stray bristles on the pool floor. My last brush from the pool store attachment head actually broke off inside the pole. I've begun rinsing the whole brush, handle and all just in case the salt was doing something to corrode.
