After tinkering with a frameless glass shower door to get it to hang exactly the right spot, I decided to give this sweep a try. What a marvelously well conceived piece of plastic engineering! - It attaches with pressure (no glue or adhesive needed). - It has two lower sweeps that are quite flexible. (Even so, I had to use a mat knife to remove one of them due to the very small clearance at the bottom. But it was super easy to do). - It provides enough tension to keep the door exactly where it needs to be. - It cut easily to size using a mitre box. The best gadget under $10 I have ever purchased.

We just upgraded everything in our master bathroom - removed it all down to the studs, and put in high end counters, tubs, fixtures etc. At teh end of the day, it all looked great but our brand new VIGO frameless shower leaked. It leaked a lot and no-one could figure out why. It was installed correctly, siliconed in all the right places, looked amazing, but there was water all over our new brazillian hardwood floor whenever we used the shower.I thought my wife was going to go balistic - and then I saw this bottom sweep and thought it was worth a try. It was different from the one that came with my shower unit in that it had a drip rail.I tried it and voila- no more leak. This piece of plastic is worth its weight in gold (well, not really, but it saved me from a life filled with nagging and that's a BIG plus).

Fit my shower door perfectly and did not require any adhesive. It also does a good job of keeping the water on the inside of the shower and sweeping any left over water into the shower when opening the door. The only work I had to do was to trim the edge off. I started with a razor blade but ultimately elect for a hacksaw as it was a bit tough for my blade. Good Product.

Exactly as described and fit perfectly. It is a door sweep, so there's not much to say about it beyond that. I did have some challenge cutting it down to my exact size but that's my problem, not a product issue. It is important for people to know that there might be some modification required to make it fit around a jamb, hinge, or threshold. I used a bandsaw and it cut cleanly but that might not be the right tool. A heavy duty scissors did a cleaner job although it turned the edge of the plastic white. I'm not sure if there is a best tool for cutting this kind of plastic?

Bought one of these from the same vendor in 2009 for our then-new glassed-in shower. Well, one of the two rubber sweeps on the bottom had mostly pulled free, and it was time to order another. Didn't hesitate to buy again from ShowerDoorDirect, and as long as I get another 10 years or so out of this one, I'll be happy. It's worth the price, I think.

I first purchased this product in August 2017, trimmed it to the right length (which was not so easy to do) and installed it on the bottom of my glass shower door. It was a snug fit against the tile under the door but seemed to keep water from leaking out. After 8 months of use, the double scraper on the bottom of the product split off. It then no longer kept water from leaking under the door. So, I repurchased it again in March 2018. I trimmed it to the right length (still difficult to do). Then, I carefully cut off about 1/16 of an inch off the double scraper, and installed it. So far, no sticking and only minor water leaks.

Worked well. I am not a DIYer and had planned to hire a handyman to install the sweep (I thought you had to take off the entire door to replace the sweep), but when I searched for what the sweep was called I came across several videos showing how to install the sweep. I said I can do that. I took off the old sweep, used a PVC pipe cutter on the new sweep, and with a little bit of struggle (and the use of a rubber mallet) I successfully replaced the door sweep.

Easy install and works as it should

This door guard is fabulous. Perfect fit and keeps the water off the floor. Easy to install and looks sturdy enough to last a long time. Price was amazing and I was happy to see that Amazon carried it as it is a difficult product to find. None of the big box stores carry it.

Overall, the shower door sweep will do the job well. I was able to trim it down to the door width easily enough, but the big problem (that took the most time) was removing the product label glued and stuck into the groove of the sweep. I scraped with a knife and scrubbed with GOOF-OFF and finally cleaned it off. Is a super sticky label really necessary?

Excellent product. Very good, tight fit. I was worried the rubber part would be too short but it’s actually way tighter than my old seal so that was great. My only complaint was trying to cut the damn thing - I tried what everyone said about ‘scoring it’ before snapping it but just trying to score it was difficult, as the plastic is very strong.

My shower door has low clearance between the bottom of the swinging door and the shower base. I originally purchased a sweep at the big box store assuming they were all alike, but it did not fit my door properly. I chose this sweep because it looked to have a narrow flange on the bottom. And luckily I was right, this sweep worked perfectly. It is a hard plastic and I used a hand saw to trim to length. It was easy to slide on but stays on securely. I plan to order a spare to keep for replacement in the future. Fast shipping too. I am happy.
